THIEVES - E30 being targeted in Berkshire

Over the first 3 months of this year my E30 cabriolet was systemaically stripped of parts, with a blatant disregard to any security systems on the drive. First they took the BBS hubs and a few bits of trim. A couple of weeks later they took the front bumper and finally a month ago they slashed the roof and stripped out the entire leather interior (seats and all)!

I have just been told that a person in the Finchampstead area (about 3 miles from me) had his E30 cabriolet taken from off his drive.

Have to assume it was somehow unlocked and towed off.

Im nowhere near, although the rise in e30 prices and their lack of security had me wondering how much this would happen.

Takes the fun out of owning one doesnt it?

I know I can on mine but not too sure about other e-30`s.
Take out the rotor arm, I did this in the 70`s to cars I had and it stopped the opertunists .
Just another obstacle in the way.
