Anyone found a decent way to mount an iPhone for sat nav duties?
Don't like windscreen mounts normally as the suckers always fall off eventually and they block the view.
Which alternatives work well in E30s?

There must be an advantage to having dealer fit air con!
This is a Brodit mount, fitted to the air con grill. It is a bit low down, but it means that the phone is out of the way, not visible from outside, and I run a charger cable from behind the dash so no ugly lighter plug USB adapter.
Sorry for the poor pic, it was too sunny!

These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....

Try a Kenu Airframe mount, can be found *cough on eBay a bit cheaper then normal, get the one that extends further.
