So im thinking of doing a 2.7 build, currently I have a clean diamondschwarz tech 2 kitted 318is, now this is where im stuck, would you sell the 318is and try and source a 2 door 325i and do the build from that, or would you do the build from the clean iS shell?

Any help and ideas appreciated

Your budget could be the deciding factor?

I'm not totally sure what the extra alterations would be for the is versus 2.5. I guess only change on the 2.5 is the induction on the 'is' would be the induction engine and drive train, suspension, loom, speedo clocks, exhaust, bushes, mounts etc etc

But how much for a clean 2.5 shell?

Use the clean shell. keep the bits so that the swap can be reversed.

Stick with what you know, if the IS shell is good, stay with it and as above, keep the bits left over.

leave your clean kitted shell alone...

dropping in the 2.7 will require also front springs, medium case diff and chopping the rear valance if twin exhaust fitted.
