saw that on the R3V facebook page, nasty looking smash, looks like the roll cage has bent as well :eek:
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Did you see on the video it was just bolted through the floor. Ideally a box should be built for it to be strong.

I did notice the bolts but missed the fact it wasn't boxed.
In my younger (less careful) days, I've had harness eyelets pull through the floor on my stock cars because we didn't do any reinforcing - just a large washer on either side :roll: and that was just general contact with other cars, not high speed impacts.

These two guys were very lucky I think!

FFS, drop a cog, induce a bit of oversteer with a flik, bury the loud pedal in the carpet you bolted your cage through, car would still be on the road.

Less badges and polish more driving. . . . end of.
