My Cabby is running on one old and one recent (6 years) front springs. The shocks may have been changed, but probably not in pairs as the previous owner was shy about opening his wallet and preferred using chewing gum rather than sealant to effect a repair, you get my point.

VIN shows the car came with "M Sports suspension" from the factory - so does this cover just springs and shocks or are there other minor or major differences I need to account for when rebuilding the front end?

Thanks a lot

Paul :-)

It's just springs and shocks.

I would go for Bilstein b6's (b8's would be a little on the firm side imo) on a cab with eibach's or H&R's. And m3 lollipop bushes are worthwhile while you are at it.

Thanks,

Bummer, I fitted new lollipops about 8 months ago, real BMW ones at that, after some cheap ones failed after only a year - OK on the Bilsteins and the eibach's - looks like a busy month, I have to replace the clutch as well!
