Yes 325i auto what you asked for..... a 4.10 diff is found in 318i 318is and the lemon of a 320i a’©

Depends to a degree on what you want to do with the car. The 4.1 or the 3.91 would be OK in a weekend toy, but in a daily driver, or one that's going to do motorway miles, I'd go for the 3.73.
Note that the 3.73 and the 3.91 are likely to be the larger, stronger medium case diff., while the 4.1 would usually be a small case version, which tends to be a bit fragile when fed with M20B25 torque, but would probably be OK behind an autobox.
I wouldn't get too hung up over getting a LSD. The advantages are minimal in reality when road driving.
It wasn't a particularly expensive option when the cars were new, and as you know, very few ticked that box.

The factory ratios for an automatic 325i were 3.91 for touring and 325i sport, 3.73 for convertible and non sport 2dr/4dr saloons.

Sorry for the thread hijack but i am planning a very long trip in the summer (2000 motorway miles)
My touring (m20b25) currently has a 4.27 in it as its main use is as a track slag.
I have a 3.38 from a compact sitting here. Would it be too low entirely for the trip?

Age: I'd pop in that long diff you have, perfect for motorway miles. if you need more grunt, you could always change down.
I've got a 2.65 fitted and only use 6th gear for stretches of the m-way. It gives quiet smooth and effortless cruising. Normal driving about I never go above 4th.
