Number Plate related question E30 I Know!

Currently got this plate on a MK2 Jetta Coupe, never really thought about it until yesterday when a BMW owner came to buy some tyres off of me. He asked if I'd had the plate on an E30 before but it was the one that was assigned to the car when I imported it. I know, we all love cheesy number plates but is there any value in E30 I Kno?

Probably I would have thought. Stick it on retention and put it on Ebay auction and see what happens.
X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...
