Also, fixing method appears to be polyurethane glue, which isn't too clever for something that's quite likely to scrape kerbs, etc. The clips used to fix the standard BMW item are designed to break or release the lip in these circumstances without causing damage to it.

As magpie says mite be worth a go if cheaper than 2nd hand one. Can't imagine brand new from bmw is cheap as realoem.com states 238 dollars. I've had the Volvo lip before on my last e30 so anything is going to be a better fit than that!
