Hi, how can I tell if both my E30's have heated door mirrors?
1989 325i SE, 1992 320i Cab.
How do you turn them on if fitted?

The obvious way is to feel the glass to see if it's warm, but if they are burnt out, the only way to be certain is to remove the mirror glass and see if there are two wires going to it, although I've noticed that some heated mirrors, at least, have a slight discoloured circle visible in the centre of the glass.
They are 'on' all the time the ignition switch is in position 1, 2 or 3, as are heated washer jets, which should be part of the same option package, IIRC.
