I found this in my glovebox, does anyone know what it is? Says part "electric driv / 3 in a box"

That would make sense, the electric mirrors don't work.

Same part is used for both sides in this case, but if a part is handed, the part number is an odd number for the LH side and an even number for the right.brutus wrote:its a door mirror motor
Never known one of these to fail other than be physically damaged, when it will fail to hold the glass at the s=desired position. Usual thing that fails is the switch on the drivers' door, which is easily checked by disconnecting it and bypassing it with wire links in its plug.
