hi guys i was on planning doing a stroker m20 but the 325 block i have is fubard i have a 2.0 block that can be rebored but prices ive been given are in the £500 region are they really that much ? i know machining is a specialist thing being toolmaker previously but £500 for a re-bore seems nuts to me or is it just me lol

Please tell me why not? Many have done it and Ant of A tech recommended it as the way to go for a stroker m20...
Interested in prices too as I need an m50 blocked machined, but only .5mm. Have you sent Byron a message (maggspower)

it used to be about £30 a bore but that was a few years ago if you said today its £50 per bore, plus honing might be about right on todays machine shop rates
You can use 2.0 blocks they lack some extra little cooling holes between bores that the 2.5 has but thats about it and not the end of the world
