Manual sunroof removal

Anyone done this? Also anyone got a usable seal ?

What do you mean by "remove"? Permanently?
Since you are also looking for a seal, I'll assume you mean remove for maintenance.
Same procedure whether electric or manual - slide the roof partly open, CAREFULLY pull down the front edge of the panels headliner (held by five (or six?) steel press in spring clips), slide the headliner right back out of the way, change the roofs position to full tilt, and unscrew the six small torx bolts holding the outer panel on. Bolts are accessed from inside the car with an extension bar on a small (1/4" ideal) socket set.
If your problem is water leaking into the cabin, a new seal won't cure the problem. The seal is to stop wind noise, and is intended to let a small amount of water through, where it should be collected by a gutter and drain tube system.

Thanks for that. Some numpty painted the seal whilst doing a repaint. Just wanting to replace with new or good second hand item.
