Pillers

What is the best way of cleaning the pillers (external black painted) Seem to ick up finer prints easy. I remember someone mentioning it but cannot find it on here through the search. Any ideas?

I give mine some wax from time to time which brings them from dull grey to black again, but as you said, as soon as they're touched they get marked. If anyone ever answers my post on how to remove these pieces I'll re-paint them.

on that thougth of repainting, has anyone ever colour coded them, are there pics anywhere?

I use meguiars endurance tyre gel on mine, apply with a bit of old sponge then buff to an even finish with a microfibre. Looks spot on but doesn't really solve the fingerprint issue!

I use AutoGlym trim gel, brings them up as new.
