I'm attempting to replace the rear wheel bearings and have stumbled at removing the 30mm driveshaft nut.
I've managed to remove the washer which gives me a bit more grip on the nut, but no amount of force even which a length of scaffolding tube will loosen the nut.
It's been drenched in WD40 and the nut whacked whilst under pressure. It's definitely corroded on and probably never been off in its 25 years life.
I have spare trailing arms etc but don't really want to go down the full replacement. I'm wondering if an impact wrench may help.
Any thoughts on a cheap air or cordless wrench that may get the nut off, or another method altogether?

well the words cheap and impact gun cordless/air will be a waste of time and money.
Get the scaffold bar and give it some welly! you need a 12 sided socket iirc

Get a blowtorch on it heat it until it glows!!! Then a scaffold bar should get it loose...
