is it possible to use a motronic 1.3 320i ecu with a 325i super chip and use this in a 325i ?

Only downside is that it might confuse some future mechanic when he finds the wrong ECU fitted.

All later six-pot Motronic 1.3 ECUs (172/173/179/380/381) are all essentially the same, aside from the program on the EPROM chip and the label.
Only significant difference is the later 380/381 has extra diodes for the idle control circuit (which are prone to blowing).
