Hi, I was wondering if the Bilstein B4 Shocks (for 51mm Struts) are the correct ones to use for a 325i convertible, I have been told they are fone, but doing a search on google some say not for M-tech suspension?, so I don't quite understand, I was advised the B8's are not the correct ones, and go for the B4's, but this has thrown a spanner in the works.

Thanks in advance.

B4s are plenty hard enough for the bendy body of a ragtop, especially if you're on UK roads.

Hi Brian,

Does the same go for the tech 2 Sport ? I was under the impression that the B6's were closer to the M-tech 51mm OEM fitment ..

Thanks,

Ric :?

Saloons have a much more rigid shell, and B6/8 are closer to OEM, but there's still the state of current British roads to consider, which the original design engineers didn't!
