Vinyl effect plastic same as dashboard

I'm currently making a housing for some VDO gauges for my H26 out of wood. I want it to match the dashboard. Any ideas how I can get that 80s bmw plastic dash look?
I looked at a vinyl wrap but couldn't find anything which gives the same affect.
Anyone done something similar?

find some textured vinyl, that's what i used for my gauge holder. its close enough
