An m20?
Basically a local place is going to charge me 80 quid to flow test 6 injectors.
So I thought I might aswell just buy reconditioned injectors if I can find somewhere trustworthy.
Cheers
Seen these but too far away and need something in the next day or two.

I've used injectortune to recondition my injectors and i highly recommend them. You'd be hard pushed to have a day or two turn around though.

Is there anyone that specifically has rebuilt m20 injectors for sale? The turn around time means sending them away isn't possible.

If I were you I would buy a set of injectors, send them to injector tune, swap them out when they arrive and sell yours

Did you get yours done because of rough running or general maintance. The reason I ask is because mine has done 104k and runs like sh1t. I've try ed every concieverble thing encept the injectors. How did yous run after?Cook318IS wrote:I've used injectortune to recondition my injectors and i highly recommend them. Another plus here for Injectortune, you've probably got the original injectors and their long past their best. As you said that you have changed everything else, get those serviced asap.
The difference is immediately noticeable, smoother running and far far better mpg. Also mention the zone for a discount!
Now write 100 lines, "why didn't I service them first"

you should be able to can buy a new set for 150-200ish. 80 for a refurb of your old ones seems steep IMO

Any injector that has done 104k miles isn't going to be working as it should - that sort of mileage equates to firing around 400,000,000 times, and since most E30s have no feedback loop on the ECU fine tuning the mixture, no attempt is made to correct any errors.ah wrote:Did you get yours done because of rough running or general maintance. Having said that, there's no certainty that they ARE badly affecting mixture strength after that sort of mileage, so a recon. may not produce any noticeable improvement at all, but it's certainly time they were done.

Brian, would storage contribute the needs for injectors to be rebuilt. Ie. storage for years at a time?
Cheers
