As above, what would be the best diff for my m30b35 converted e30?
currently has a welded 1.6 diff- not my choice! was already in it when i got it!
don't really want it so revvy in 5th gear.........
best diff?

What gearbox are you using?
I'm using a 3.64, but with the torque of a m30, a lower ratio could be used

im a little unsure of the gearbox? wasn't prepared for a follow up question! 
but I'm not a fan of the welded diff- and i have a 320i sat on my drive with i presume a open diff- which I'm guessing would have a better ratio than the current welded 1600 diff..........
would that be any better or is it a lot of work for nothing?
