Can somebody tell me where is the best place to fit a temp sensor for a accurate reading on a m20 2.5 engine. I've purchased a fitting for the oil pressure sensor from lma. Any photos and advice would be appreciated.

the info is incorrect I think ?l can fit the oil pressure switch in the side of t fitting from lma but can't fit the temp sensor due to its length. I also thought should fit original pressure switch bottom of fitting. To get a accurate read the temp sensor should be in the flow of oil. What have other done when installing the temp sensor can it be fitted to the sump?

don't fit the temp sensor in the sump it will give a false reading,

when i fitted mine i used the long LMA T piece with the pressure sensor mounted on the side & for the temp sensor i used this \/\/\/\/\/\/

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201108485737? ... EBIDX%3AIT

with the short LMA adaptor, true it is at the bottom but it is in the flow of oil & give a true reading.

i take it you are using VDO gauges??
