Is there any correlation between what E30 got fitted with which brand of headlight unit ? Both seem to have the same style available and both take the headlight adjustment option, so was this just a random year supplier change , specific to car model or market ?
My 1990 M3 with the headlight adjuster option had one of each fitted by someone at some point, so not sure which is original.

you can fit headlight beam adjuster kit to facelift brackets and also remove them to fit manual ones ...the brackets are just held on with push out pins set in pre drilled holes .

Sorry, I meant from the factory. As in did BMW change suppliers half way into production, change for a different sales market ( US / Euro ) etc. Was just wondering why some got Hella and some got Bosch. Did all M3s get one brand ?
