I assume the weight is an issue?
Worth looking at splitting the base and backrests and sending them in 5 parcels? 2x bases, 2x backs 1x headrests.
We get a lot of big stuff sent from China by TNT global express, just sent 18kg for about £270, not bad for 4 day delivery from China to the UK.

Seats are a large volume, so will work out very expensive. DHL almost works out best for me, their tracking service is the best, and fast. (UK to LA less than 48hrs)
May be worth talking to buyer and see if he needs just the seat covers. You'll need to charge for the whole seat and a bit more for dismantling, but could work out a lot cheaper for customer in the end?
