hello folks, got a 1990 318is brilliant red, lovely motor, m-tech bodykit, was wondering what everyone thought of the black grill, or do you think the silver looks better??

Both look good imo. If you do the black one i always think you should do the body coloured eyebrows as well.

I run the 320 in my sig or tho its for sale cos i want a sport or 2.7!

If i was ever going to do my one up it would probably end up with a black grill. If you want a a good one - try the hamman ones on ebay as their nice and thick.

thanks alot mate, used to have a 320i myself, pretty standard, but i do miss the grunt from the six cylinder!!

Here's my CAB with said Kidney Grill and Also the Black Eyelids..

IMO DONT colour code the eylids..they look sh*t...

Just paint em black and then the whole frone just blends like it should do

I have also got the grey/black front grille with the eyebrow spoiler....

Looks way better than silver... more evil looking

If you are gonna get a black grill do not colour code the front eyelid spoiler.... it ruins the look.... stick with black.

I have to stick with silver on a red BMW (see my sig pic for example), black looks good on some of the darker colours but black just dont seem right somehow...

yeah i agree!

if you colour code the eyebrows it leave a big gap where
the grill is but each to their own of course

Yes, Thats my opinion too! People know its a BMW from the front grill, its like a merc with the target bonnet badge! I bought a Sport with a black grill, soon came off!

prefer it with the chrome grill, colour, its almost a trademark feature of the E30 and colour coded or black just doesnt look right.

I think black grill and eyebrows makes the car look more sad if you get me, left mine chrome, looks so much better.

if everyone kept their grill chrome though same as everything
else on the car thepurists cars wouldnt be worth as much.

in a sense us changing the appearance of the e30 is making
the purist ones take better value as there are less around

so that makes everyone happy
