Just the other day I came across a picture of a UK E30 that was fitted with a LS1 engine. Does anyone know this car and where I can read or get to know more about the build?

Okay, thanks.

Would you know where I can find this Paul Smith?
Google came up with a fashon designer and someone in the US starting his E30.

No, I am not on Facebook (don't laugh)...

I was hoping there would be a build topic on an English E30 forum.

Thanks.

They have moved the engine far back, so I would like to see more of that (I hate understeer). Also what solutions they had for the brake servo, the bodykit they used or fabricated (noticed the front fenders are open at the back and was playing with a similar idea but didn't know how; this is what actually appealed to me in this car), stiffening the whole car with a bespoke roll cage, the front suspension arms they used in combination with the wheels and ET. et cetera.

Looks like a serious track car, like to learn for my own project.

I doubt that's running a brake servo somehow

Amazing. I've had a GTD40 before and spent quite some time on GT40s.com and I am always amazed at what some people are able to create starting from scratch.

I'd better stick to BMWs myself, but how I would love to be able to build somethiing like that.
