Hi all,
Ive been seriously considering selling my E30 convertible to fund a sport, I've seen a few of them and also offered my car as part ex but no luck so far, some of you may think why i want a sport, its just the fact I've only owned convertibles and 1 more door, now I'm after a coupe. Being my car is a convertible i don't think it will sell this year or will it?
Thanks guys

I would wait until spring/summer to sell, as cab prices typically drop to their lowest during winter.

I think they've gone past this "cheaper in the winter" malarky.

Anyone seriously wanting a DECENT, NICE, e30 convertible, will pay the same in December as they will in May as they know damn well that good ones are now rare. Plus it'll give them a time frame to sort anything / get the car to how they want it by the time they want to use it in the spring.

Anyone with a fucked, molested turd will still always struggle to sell it whether it's 32 degrees or 6 foot of snow outside.

We are not talking run of the mill, MX5s, S2000's or 330ci's here.

yes i understand your view on it, if i was to advertise it this year i will get people asking me why i am selling it, whats the reason etc, there maybe the one buyer who thinks its a good time to buy it, i will probably advertise it here on the zone tonight.

I agree with Trevor.

However, if you want decent money, and it's a decent car, then the zone isn't the place to advertise it!

Post up pics, though, please.

There might be someone on here, I have had a few messages I. recent months asking if I am selling or not, it's my tech 1 convertible, build thread is on here. If this isn't the right place, what is?

Oh yes, I do recall reading this. Good effort. I look forward to seeing your ad. Good luck with the sale.
