Was looking about buying some new lens for my M3 for the bumper indicators and thought they may be a few pounds each, but turns out the dealer is around £65 each !
After a bit of Google work, it seems there is a whole bunch of numbers of lens which look exactly the same and even the base indicator unit has a couple of versions. The US M3 car have different numbers for both unit and lens.
Can anyone tell me the differences as they look exactly alike to me but at a fraction of the price with a genuine BMW whole indicator unit and lens being around £20 each in the US.
Some US owners say they have transferred the indicators to Euro spec bumpers and there is no problem.
Here's a link to a US vendor selling such.

I looked online for the lens and see the M3 has a US spec and Euro part number. The Euro part number coming back at around £60 each ! The US part number being about £19. Do you know the past number of the parts you got ?JimM3 wrote:They are around £18 each from dealers. Bought a pair 3 weeks ago.
Jim.
I asked on S14.net and was told the unit is 3 pin plug for US cars and 2 pin for Euro . Also forgot these would be E and Dot marked for legality .

Using the same site and the US lens part numbers, they come out at £19 each.
