...with no service history?
But in decent condition, 140kodd miles, bit of bubbling on arches but generally in good nick?
How much would such a car be worth to you?
Is service history important in maintaining a cars value?
Would you buy a 1989 325i Sport....

Yes I would, go over it with a fine tooth comb, if you are happy and prepared to bring it up to scratch and spend the money. As to full service history, these are over 20 years old, if it's high miles, its value will be based on it's condition, not so much on history, if it's low miles and full history and good, here in Australia it would be big money, I imagine the same would be true for you there.

Yes providing the price reflected the lack of history and I wasn't massively concerned with resale values. If you want to buy a car you can use without too much worry and it's cheap, I say go for it.
