Just got one of these today. Weird how mine is a saloon 320i and yet has completely different part numbers despite having the same shell

Do the "found on the following vehicles" search, and see exactly what models each version was used on.

Dont 320s and 325s both have twin pipes, the 2nd link says its for 320, and the first link for 325..

The part number situation for rear panels is very strange.. me and the parts guys at cotswolds tried to figure it out earlier this week, and we were stumped.. There's loads of different part numbers i.e. 5 different part numbers for a twin exhaust 320i... and you can't see why there would be any difference whatsoever between part numbers.
Just go on RealOem.. enter your VIN and use the part number it's telling you on there.. There's probably about 10 other part numbers which will all give you an identical panel, but better to be safe than sorry.

Tiniest difference will generate a different part number. Possibly variations in number plate fixing holes?
