It was not until I watched the video that I realised it takes about the same time to get through third and fourth gear, it still accelerates the same in fifth gear

it looks to me like its about 3 seconds from when you hit the throttle @ 60, to 100?

The oil temperature gauge in the Rev counter is connected to the gearbox, it normally runs at about 50 degrees Celsius
