cab water leak into rear footwell

We have had heavy showers today and i finally investigated a water leak into the drivers rear footwell on my car.
After removing the rear seat and side trim i found the drain hole for the roof storage compartment was blocked.
It is at the side of the roof hinges and difficult to see.
I cleared it by poking a tie wrap down it and the water ran out straight away.
I hope this helps anyone with a similar issue in the future.
