board dial

Hello! I have one bmw e30 m40 318i.I have a problem with dial.Τhe institution of temperature and petrol is never constant.Seven months before replacing the batteries on the board but the problem remained .People in bmw told me that probably blame the board, and wants change but I am not sure.Can you help me please? I am from Greece. Thank you.

Have you tried tightening the brass nuts on the back of the board? If you turn the clocks over and remove the plastic cover you will see them behind the petrol/temp gauge. You can remove them and pull the guages out to clean the solder with some contact cleaner while you are at it

yes I have already done it. I 've cleaned everything but the problem is still here. What else could be happens?
