Hi all, can anyone recommend a spray can of alpine white paint?
I have tried the halfrauds one and it is nowhere near the right colour!!
The car is a 1987 if that makes a difference.
Many thanks
recommendations please

I would go to a car paint shop and get them to make you one up.
I went down the other day and the match for lachsilber was almost perfect

Thanks for the info guys but I was really asking if anyone had experience with a particular brand as there are lots to choose from and I dont want to try them all!! Before I find a match.
Should have been a bit clearer in my first post
If anyone has had good results with a brand you can get in the uk let me know cheers.

There are several issues at hand. The quality of the aerosol is just one of them ! The main one is that your car is nearly 30 years old and has undoubtedly had plenty of paintwork, some of it possibly the correct colour !
You need to get a can mixed up and matched to what you are painting. Obviously you need to flat and polish the panel first. Be aware there is alpine white and alpine white 2 , and undoubtedly several shades of either

When picking up some alpine white a few years ago I was faced with a nightmare. Not only do you have the different alpine whites, but multiple sub shades

Indeed. The BMW factories which made E30s had two different paint companies kit on site, in case of failures and I believe they were all different companies. So, there could be subtle differences across the same colour.
As above, get it matched and take it from there.
