I've seen it driving about Lewisham in South London for as long as I can remember. It's always looked like it would have failed it's next MOT and yet it managed to cling on, for literally years, and I see it's finally bitten the dust.

Anyone know anything about it? Anyone considering bidding should note that it's properly ropey.
Does anyone know this car?

In fairness to the seller, he has been refreshingly honest and described it as basically scrap. BUT it is a decent spec black chrome bumper manual 325. This will appeal to many people and you only need a few deluded fools who think £500 will get it up together to get the bids going .
Absolutely agree Peter, he couldn't have made it anymore clearer that the car is scrap.pacerpete wrote:In fairness to the seller, he has been refreshingly honest and described it as basically scrap. The reality is, it is probably the only good spec 2 door manual chrome bumper 325 you have seen on the road in years ! These cars are disappearing fast !
Yes, that is true. Interestingly, there are still a lot on the road in this area as they were very popular around here when new.
For example, In my road and the next street along, there are 6 parked permanently in the street and in daily use (2 late model 316i tourings (one of which is adapted for disabled use), an F Reg Sport with BK Alloys, a very nice white 318is, a maroon H Reg Poverty Spec 325i 4 door with steel wheels and original BMW GB numberplates, and a 325i convertible (not counting my 325i which has been in the garage for the last 3 years).
Not seen a 2 door chromie 325i other than this one for a very long time though.
