How hot is too hot?

So I can see my temp through the ecu software and I can set a alarm to warn me if its getting to hot.. How hot is to hot?

I did a coolant swap and its now reaching 3/4 on the car gauge at traffic lights and the software tells me its 95 deg C.

Before coolant swap it would go past half way...

Guess I may have a air lock?

yup i'd not be running an M20 in the aussie heat if it had an air lock. Looking for trouble!

Well it's only 20 deg C at the moment... But what is actually considered hot, is 95 hot?

95 is more than the thermostat which is 88° or if your car is prepared for hot climate or air con then 80°
Personally I don't like to see the temp gauge needle above half way

Thermostat for an M20 engine should be 82 degrees and the needle should sit just above the quarter mark.
