Evening gents;
i know the value of any decent e30 has shot up alot over the years but where does it end? keep rising at the rate they have been?
reason i ask is ive got a 318is tucked away and never use it! last year it went to the mot station and back and that's it, i wouldnt say ive lost the love for it but since having a family priorities have changed completely.
do i leave it where it is and hope the value continues to climb or sell up? some of the shite i see advertised is horrendous, i appreciate what stuff is advertised for and what it actually sells for is completely different but i'd like a few opionion
318is, H plate, 3 previous owners, laser blue, 13 button OBC, tech 1 rear spoiler, 84k, stacks of history to back up mileage, 15" bbs alloys, completely factory original.
cheers

It's not going to drop in value so if it isn't a burden then keep hold of it. That's what I'm doing.

Hang on to it. It looks decent from those pics and with that mileage it's in the 'collectors' league as opposed to most of the 11 owner 154'000 mille scrap.

Thanks, its not by any means perfect and wouldn't ever claim it is, it needs a few small bits sorting like the electric aerial has stopped working but nothing majorAndyboy wrote:Hang on to it. Hopefully ill find some time when family gets a bit older to take it out a bit more.

These guys are just humoring you, its worthless and will only go down in value.
I'll tell you what, I will do you a favor and give you £500 for it, save you having to store it.

i do love e36's, i'd like an estoril blue m3 evo, but its a bit like buying e30 in the fact its hard to find a nice one.
i looked at an S plate one a few years back but the back arches were filled with filler and the history didnt add up. walked away with the 5k he wanted sitting in my pocket. they are getting very expensive to find a nice one

I sold my black IS on pistonheads, the response was overwhelming had to take phone off the hook for few weeks afterwards.
i've not seen one in that colour, for while.
