As Colin Chapman of Lotus once said: "Add lightness."
So I have. I have taken out the following items from my iS:
Spare wheel
Boot carpet
All boot sundries (jack, triangle, took kit, the lot)
Rear bench (just pulls out)
Head rests
Passenger seat (four sockets)
Plastic trim around gearstick/handbrake
Leather gaiter around gearstick
All carpets and mats
Cigarette lighter
Glove box torch
Radio
I have also emptied all the screen wash and folded back the door mirrors.
With the fuel light on I have now timed myself 0-62 in just 8.3 seconds (previously 9.1 seconds).

Two headblenders, couple of bags of MC Hammer, 5 litres of FFF, a 48ft bastard, a box of jumped-up custard and some soggy chimps

Forgot to mention I also ditched the centre caps from the BBS alloys and scraped off the under bonnet sound-proofing stuff.

I hope you have stored your back seats with the backrest laid flat. It is a known hot tip in the tuning world

You could shave off seconds by removing the headlining too.

Keep going, door cards, roof lining, sunroof tray if present, carpet, sound proofing from everywhere, rear shelf, any unwanted heat shielding, heater motor can go too. Do you need a radio ? If not the wires can go too as can all the unused accessories wires. I Can keep going if you want.

If you weren't such a monumentally large bell end you would probably manage a gnarly 7 second 60

Empty the fuel tank, all that silly petrol weighs a fair bit

X5 V8 for thrills, CRV for chills, Range Rover P38 V8 for sooooo much aggravation...
