So I may have found an Evo 1 that is in need of some serious TLC (think reshell if it was any normal E30)
Guy is away with the fairies with how much he thinks it's worth but it got me wondering, whats an E30 M3 that needs more or less a full resto such as what xworks did with his these days and how much it would vary between the different models such as normal M3/Evo 1, Evo 2, Sport Evo etc

Although rare, an Evo 1 doesn't really hold value over a standard 195/200 car and certainly not a late 215 car.
How bad is the body?
History and mileage will have a bearing on its value pre and post resto.

Really depends on condition! Agree, Evo I hold no value premium. Check these restos, go to PHOTOS and ALBUMS, several UK M3's there.

Haha, yea... Been away from the E30s for abit due to playing with landrovers as I needed a Defender for work and then been messing around with the E46 for the last while.
Probably get my iS back together during the winter to put on the road again next year for a few trackdays and some fun until I get a chance to do a proper rebuild on it.
I've a growing itch lately for adding an E30 M3 to the stable however... That or an E9 to make use of my S38. Whichever turns up at the right money first
I must find out some more details on The Evo but yep, the Evo 1s weren't anything special but would suit me as I couldn't leave one alone anyway so be a sin if I molested an Evo 2 or Sport Evo really or drove it every chance I could a˜‚
The fact that a mate said it could do with a reshell isn't too confidence inspiring combined with the fact that the guy that has it seems to still think it's worth close to decent M3 money!
