my 1990 conv has a factory mtech1 kit on it. whilst haring down from Redhill to Pompey for some sailing, it appears the bit that sits inside the front spoiler and then goes under the engine, (a valance?), has become unhinged , then torn, completed ruptured.
I managed to unscrew the otherside of it off and the car runs fine, however any ideas if thepart actually serves a useful purpose (assume airflow and decreasing stress on the actual front spoiler). Were do I find another part (assume scrap only).
Also put in a new battery on the weekend and since them, the Hirschmann will not go up. Any thoughts?
