Ive been offered a set of 16" AC Schnitzer rims from a guy at work for $625 AUD. I haven't seen them yet but have been told that they are a star design and coloured silver. The tyres are pretty worn but driveable.
Does anyone have a picture of these rims on a car and do you think this sounds like a reasonable price?

i'd say they were 16's and it was just the design of the rim, as the spokes don't go all the way to the edge. plus looking at wheels straight on like that can make them look smaller..but anyways, 625 AUD is what - Ԛ£250-Ԛ£300? i think that's quite a good deal even if the tyres are bad, as long as the wheels aren't knackered themselves.

look like 15s to me.
they're the rarest of the tuning house wheels are they not? i've never seen them in real life, certainly seem rarer than alpinas or hartges.
it's not fair to convert oz dollars to gbp as a dollar in your pocket there is worth a pound in your pocket here i.e. half a beer. it's effectively the same as asking for 600 quid. steep but worth it for the rarity?

that's true about the money conversion - perhaps a better way to do it is to relate it to the price of e30 parts over there? e.g. how much is a set of 16" original alpina's in australia, here it is Ԛ£400+ usually right, so if we know the price of those we can tell if it's a good deal for the acs wheels

Thanks guys, I think I might go ahead and buy them. The picture of that navy blue cab looks great. Appreciate your comments.
