I've been looking for some nice, kind of period correct with a oe look wheels for my series one chromie for a while and there really isn't much out there in the 4x100 pcd that I think will look right .

Bbs rs and rm I feel look to small in 15". I really don't like the idea of reps either as I've seen how bad the build quality is.

Seem lots of nice mesh bbs type style wheels by remotec and fondmetal. All in 16" variations but all 5x120. Which would mean using hubcentric adapters . Or, the dreaded Re drill!! ! Which never looks like a great idea to me.

So I was wondering, has anyone ever Re drilled their hubs and discs to 5x120 instead as it'd seem much more simple that swapping out all the running gear to 5x120 and it'd avoid the problem of running pcd adapters which throw the offset out or welding and drilling wheels. . . ?

Thanks in advance

Not enough material on the 4x100 hub to safely drill to 5x120 - if it was that simple, everybody would be doing it!
