Mine cost me £600... The backs of the seats were already black leather, so I had the fronts (fabric) done in Houndstooth grey Italian leather front and back seats, lovely and soft too! I'm on the Isle of Wight though, hope this helps...

I've been quoted £900 from http://www.dkschweizer.co.uk
I had mine done (albeit 10 years ago) by Chequers Auto Upholstery in Bearsted. It was £1200 for the seats, door cards, backs of seats and the side bits in the back of the convertible, and the steering wheel was re-trimmed as well.

Wherever you go make sure you see some examples of their work first, I am seeing too many baggy interiors these days. They really shouldn't have any wrinkles.
Price list I got last year from B-trim in Enfield, who have historically been the place that know how to trim old BMW and Recaro, had front and rear seats as £1600+VAT for standard Nappa Leather
That is top-end for a job but each time they have done trim work for me I could not fault it (and I can usually pick faults with anything)
So looks like that is in the ball-park if their work is up to scratch.

Thanks. Now need to decide whether to get both front and rear done. The front seats aren't in a good way, but the rear seats look like they've never been used - seems a shame to spend $1,000 on something that doesn't need fixing. But I don't want to risk having a two-tone interior!
…….. I have e30 original leather & fabric seat skins available !

Other option if you're handy is to buy the seat covers and recover yourself.coopman wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 9:33 amThanks. Now need to decide whether to get both front and rear done. Otherwise I can look up where my car was reupholstered in Sydney.
I considered it - watched a YouTube video - decided I'd probably make a mess of it.Tzantushka wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 1:38 pmOther option if you're handy is to buy the seat covers and recover yourself.coopman wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 9:33 amThanks. Yeah, I'd be interested to hear where yours was done. Thanks.
