can anyone recommend a good lighter USB dongle for charging my iPhone. i have a HTC one which fits really badly and wobbles around so that the contacts are on and off charging the phone intermittently...i'm pretty sure that's not doing my battery any good.
i'm looking for one that fits snugly, so what have you guys got?

I really like this belkin model. Its very small and literally hides the socket and makes it looks like a USB port that was always meant to be there.

I picked up one of these:

I fits very well and obviously, I can charge two things at once (handy when your daughter is NEVER off her phone!!)
It has a handy little handle to ease removal. Only one downside. It illuminates green!!! Why? I have not a clue when every BMW I've ever had has Amber illumination.
Theres a guy on the 5 forum, converting old glovebox torches into Fag Lighter fly leads to utilise the torch charger socket. Saves having leads on show all the time. He;s using it for a dash cam. Another option I guess.

I've just bought one of these for mine, going to mount in In the center console somewhere as I get rid of the ash tray in favour of some gauges
A power socket, two usb ports and a built in voltmeter is all handy stuff

you can pop it in your rear if you like, not sure if you'll charge your phone that way though...perhaps if you simultaneously cycle your legs in the air?

For me the belkin is super stealth, I see the BMW version at the parts counter all the time, just too in your face bulk.

I needed one badly the other day and I refused to pay PC world stupid money so I popped into BMW next door and got the twin one which was about £20.
I was lucky enough to get it FOC
