what do they go for these days. how much would you pay for one, as i looked at one today it looks mint. wil it take as much as the 325i and will it be crap to drive after having a sport.

please elabortae on the word "mint"?

low miles, no rust, good colour? full history? No tapping? etc?

an IS with all of the above can easily go for 1500-2200

dont no the miles or if it was tappy. as the owner wasnt at the car.
he said that he has loots of paper work with the car, there was no rip on the seat and there wasnt even a scrach on the paint work. it is white.

i would here it running first

offer low then work up is what i always do, u never know u mite get a bargain.

i owuld look through paperwork and look for evidence of profile gasket and timing chain work, these are the two major faults with the IS. well the chain wasnt a fault, jsut a nuisance if the tensioner isnt repalced
