Facelift vs pre-facelift glovebox question.

Hi folks, can anyone shed any light on this subject. I have what I think is a pre-facelift glovebox (lower one in the picture), The number on it is 1888117.

reaLOEM says a prefacelift should be 1888116 and no parts match the previous number.

I am looking at buying a facelift one (pictured at the top) but the seller tells me it has that same number on it as mine. He has seen this picture and assures me it's the top one. Now I'm really confused.

Please help before I buy the wrong thing. I need the facelift one.
