Anyone done it or know of one ?

Mine currently has a Milltek but I'm thinking of the BTB system.

Not after huge power gains if any at all but a nice sounding system.

Thoughts ??

I had a couple of different systems on mine. By far the best on sounding was a stainless Supersprint back box on the stock front half.
When the front half developed a rattle, I replaced the lot with a Miltek and had nothing but aggro with the exhaust hanger on the back bock and sealing problems with that short front pipe. I sold the Supersprint just after purchase of the Miltek to help pay for it and realised the mistake soon after and made the new owner promise to sell it me back if he ever sold the car or changed the exhaust. Which I'm pleased to say he did.

Im running a Auto-mac rear silencer stainless steel, The middle is the supersprint steel version, Problem is now not many people are making exhausts anymore unless its all stainless.

Sounds great to me.

The scorpions are a bit loud and very deep.

Hayward & Scott full custom system is the way to go they were heavily involved with everything from group-B rally cars to Cosworth F1! They are very reasonable believe me....

Scorpion is garbage and the Supersprints are not as well made as they once were.

I know a few people who've been very pleased with and recommended Hayward & Scott!!!

I've got the full BTB system on mine, although it's a 327, not an M3, so I'm aware it may sound completely different - but it's excellent quality and sounds awesome, if a touch loud!!!

Hayward & Scott are down the road from me, had an exhaust built for a Subaru I had, sounded lovely and good quality

The quality is spot on and the craftsmanship is also excellent.

The 150 mile ride home was superb with the throaty burble which I was hoping for, overall highly satisfied.

That looks lovely!. How about a vid of the sound?

It must have been pricey but money well spent I would imagine.... And improvement on performance noticeable??

How do I post a vid of the sound :? :o:

I've not noticed a great deal of extra performance yet and probably not sure I will.

It was pricey but money well spent. I've spent a small fortune on it recently ie water pump, overhaul of the cooling system and a full set of Bilstein B6's with new top mounts etc. It's running rather well at present.
