Stripping a diff down and am about to remove the pinion gear. Have undone the nut on the end. Just to confirm before I throw it in the press and ruin it, it just presses out right?

Thanks

Ross

After looking at it a while, figured there was nothing that could be holding it in so chucked it in the press and crossed my fingers. Luckily nothing broke and it's now all stripped, ready to be cleaned and 2 packed

I didn't know your plans were to renew the bearings, I thought you wanted to paint the casing only.

Built it back up and blasted the case. Came out pretty well, but the bead blaster I was using was shite. Going to take it back on Tuesday and finish it off

Is it too homo to fill and sand the pitting?
