Part numbers I have are 1278921 and next to it is 28037
What capacity block could this be?
M20 block identification 2.5 or 2.7 eta?

You need to check the actual engine number. It's stamped on a flat surface just abave the sump gasket, next to the dipstick.
It should start 25 (for a 2.5) or 27 for an eta engine.

M20 blocks come in two sizes,80mm bore and 84mm bore.
The 84mm 'eta' block may have 'steam holes' between the bores,but these are of little value in practical terms.
It's the crank that makes the difference between 325 and 2.7.....
