So...recently had my car in with Barry (bss325i) who fitted a Z3 short shift...fantatstic upgrade!

Then I came across a sight with weighted gear knobs claiming to make the short shift even more comfortable...so I bought one.

Arrived today and I have to say...WOW!

I know it wont be evryones cup of tea and to be honest the shape / feel will take me a bit of getting used to...but it looks great and more importantly changes the feel of the gear change completely...much smoother, easier and more comfortable.

They should offer a leather coated one being an oem mushroom style knob to still look original
