this morning had to clear some pigeon poop of my car.
carefully removed it with warm water, unfortunately its left a white haze on the roof about 2 inches in diameter, any idea's whats the best way to get rid of it.

Unfortunately it is like acid...I usualy use a water based degreaser with a cotton wool pad. You could try washing up soap...soak the cotton wool pad and leave it on for a few minutes.

Alternatively and better...get some polish and a microfibre pad from Halfrauds...something like Farecla G3.

Meguires do an "ultimate compound" which I have found to be very good for this sort of thing if used by HAND.

Sounds perfect, last time i used t cut and wasnt very happy with the after effect.

T-cut is good enough, you just have to wax the surface after, because normally T-cut leaves a bit of a matt finish.

Run a clay over it, it lifts out all organic contaminants and is kinder on the paint. If that still leaves a shadow hand polish the area with something like Farecla G3.

Worst thing I've seen on paint is cheap suntan lotion, do not get it on your car.
