keys locked in car

help please, my friends put his keys in the ignition and shut the door and locked them inside the car ,trying not to laugh,any way of opening without smashing the window

windscreen out is easiest/cheapest way !

Pull the cover tab off the bottom of the screen and remove the locking strip and pull the windscreen out. Easy to do

E30s have mushroom headed locking buttons inside the car. As long as it's not dead locked, pull out the top corner of the window frame, insert a small wedge to keep it out, and drop a suitably bent piece of stiff wire down inside, hook the pin, and pull it up.
The corner of the window frame can easily be bent back into place when the door is open.

i locked my keys in the boot last week, used a hangar in the way mentioned, and got it open...
needless to say i now deadlock it wherever i go,
